We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone that helped make the third annual Student Golf Tournament fundraiser a resounding success!
Thanks to your support, we raised an estimated amount of $12,000 that will be provided to Oshki-Wenjack, Confederation College, and Lakehead University to assist First Nation students in their post-secondary education journey by awarding bursaries.
The youth are the leaders of tomorrow and the committee in partnership with First Nation educators and businesses, are looking to provide opportunities to support students today for the betterment of future generations.
A special thank you goes out to everyone who sponsored, donated, played, and/or volunteered. Your enthusiasm and contributions were instrumental in making this event possible. We are also grateful to Whitewater Golf Course and our partners, Nishnawbe Aski Nation and Windigo Development Corporation, for their collaboration on this initiative.
