A New Milestone in Fire Safety for Northern First Nations
When resources are limited, we are stronger when we stand together. That is the heart of a new Memorandum of Understanding (“MoU”) between the Municipality of Sioux Lookout and the Independent First Nations Alliance (“IFNA”). This MoU outlines how the two organizations can work collaboratively for the advancement and betterment of each, when it comes to fire-related activities and reduction of fire-related harm and deaths in our communities.

Business and Financial Literacy Workshop
A free Business and Financial Literacy Workshop will be available in Whitesand First Nation next month at the Whitesand Multiplex for anyone that needs support. NADF’s Business Support Officer, Johnathan Beardy will be onsite to share his knowledge.

First Nations Student Golf Fundraiser 2023
This Golf Tournament supports Oshki-Wenjack, Confederation College and Lakehead University in assisting First Nation students by awarding bursaries to students following the golf tournament.
